Poop; after 61 weeks Sex On Fire is still in the UK Top 40...
Crazy.. it was at 31 last week and still 39 this week! I think that's just on physical sales; other charts that include downloads have them at like 26. ![]()
The UK Top 40 is a mystery to me now, don't recognise (or listen to) 90% of the artists and almost none of the songs. Pandora FTW.
Dev Parade - BACCHIKOI
Totally puts a smile on your face. Possibly the weirdest Naruto ED music ever.
Naruto Shippuuden version:
My music taste is pretty fucked up at the moment, i'm listening to pretty much everything.
My last.fm top artists for the week:
Rage Against the Machine
Flying Lotus
Mini Viva
Pendulum
Sublime
Cause 4 Concern
Deadmau5
Sophie Ellis-Bextor
Linkin Park
Them Crooked Vultures
Miley Cyrus
Florence + The Machine
Cascada
Chase & Status
Taio Cruz
That's pretty random..
John Carpenter + Goblin + Black Sabbath + Katatonia = Acid Witch.

As I've been in a suit mood lately.
How I Met Your Mother - Suits, the Musical
Played quite often on Nation Radio in the mornings and great to wake up to/snooze to while trying to wake for lectures.
Mumford & Sons - Little Lion Man
Fucking love this song at the moment. It's a free download as well: http://dnbshare.com/download/EllieGould … 3.mp3.html
The Very Best of Uriah Heep!
Heard my Dad talk about them in years gone past, and saw their compilation CD on sale for £5. Bought it, and pretty much love it! Prog rules. ![]()

I rinsed Pieces to death when I first heard it. Slowly gone off Chase And Status though as I see them becoming more and more like Pendulum everday and they started releasing crap (the song for Harry Brown or whatever it was, can't remember the song name - hate it.)
Also, I might be getting a slot DJing (I'll be doing Dnb/Dubstep) on a internet radio station, so stay tuned for that ![]()

That's the biggest load of bollocks I've ever read. What is with everyone saying "OMG Sound just like Pendulum, losers!" you're as bad as American teenagers calling grown men noobs.
Chase & Status sound nothing like Pendulum, their is literally no similarity there whole style is different. If you think that you may as well say it all sounds like Pendulum.
Chase & Status to me are bit too urban for my liking quite the opposite of Pendulum, they do have some good tracks though.

He never said they sound like Pendulum, he said they are becoming more like Pendulum, which I would assume to mean moving away from their more original underground sound and turning their sound more mainstream.
(Though on that topic, what i've heard of Immersion has my hopes up Pendulum are moving back towards 'proper' DnB rather than the weird Electro Rock stuff.)

It doesn't matter what he meant. I'm taking what he said literally.
Except you're not, what he said was 'becoming like', not 'sounding more like'.

This.
I've heard 2 tunes off Immersion (provided Ransom makes it onto the album). I do quite like Salt In The Wounds (as well as Ransom). When I saw them at Earstorm though I wasn't impressed, mostly because they kept mixing their old songs into the new ones meaning you couldn't really get a decent listen to the new material. Combine that with a lot of vodka and a great anticipation to see Sub Focus and Noisia after, meant I wasn't really feeling Pendulum that night :p
What radio station are you hoping to get onto Reids?
Didn't get the end credits track either. kinda sounded like the beats where slapped on the vocal in very hap hazard fashion. I am hoping that the new album, due for release later this year, will be good though.
Also would like to hope that the new Pendulum material will be good as the first album was ace, but the second was all a bit meh IMO.

Well, it's an Anarchy Online radio station, every now and again it DJs for in-game parties and stuff, but they have regular shows on all week (that aren't AO related). I'll be getting a regular slot hopefully.

Judas Priest...
Alexi Murdoch...
Found out about him last night while watching "Away We Go", a film by Sam Mendes.
Awesome.

Been loving "The Qemist's" album recently, heard one of their songs on Dirt 2 so investigated more...
Qemists are awesome. Been listening to them for about 6 months now since my mate let me borrow the album. Quality.
lol they must be growing in popularity then, just downloaded the Blur multiplayer Beta and they're on the intro!
http://open.spotify.com/track/3yvxMqylLXcm4eQQGQFdto
No idea if that'll work but obviously you'll need Spotify anyway to try ![]()

(it's a legal download)
Funking out is an understatement.
On a bit of a Bloc Party binge at the minute...
I hadn't listened to them in a while and I'd forgotten just how good they are!
Listening to a bit of Running up that Hill by Placebo at the moment. Suits my mood for the day!
And also liking this. Fever Ray - Keep the Streets Empty for Me.
And yes the video isn't original, nor does it make much sense!
